I've been travel hunting for decades and need the absolute best in equipment. Anything less would be simply irresponsible.  I have been having my firearm custom work done by Don at High Country Gunsmithing for most of my hunting career.  Never once have I ever been disappointed in his work.  I have never experienced one gun malfunction in the field. From tightness of scope mounts to amazing accuracy Don's guns have set a new standard for the bar.  Many clients in the field have seen his custom work and have insisted that I give up his contact information because they also agree his work is second to none.  It pays to have quality work done.  You only have the one shot. Set your sights for High Country Gunsmithing first.  The rest is easy.

Hi Don & Staff,
Took a great record trophy bull on a fantastic hunt in Utah.  7 x 7 Imperial Bull Elk (typical class)
*Length of Main Beams 551/8 & 54 3/4
*Inside span of Main Beams 43 3/4
*Royals 18 1/2 & 16 1/2
*All tines are extremely long and matching each side (very good for typical class as 90% of bulls are non-typical
*Weighed over 1000 lbs, approx 8' long and 8 yrs of age.
TOTAL SCORE 370 POINTS
Shot at 280 yds through the lungs and top portion of heart.  He just stood there affter shot and then took several steps and dropped.

Your work on the rifle was everything I could ask for.
Thanks, Lee  NJ

I got my 300 Ultra Mag back from Tom Miller Gunsmithing today with your brake on it. I am absolutely amazed at how much the recoil is reduced and the noise is not nearly as loud as I expected it to be. The scope marks on my forehead may finally heal!

The gun looks great with the new brake and everyone I show it to asks where I got it. I had Tom cut two inches off the barrel before installing the brake, thus reducing it to a 24-inch barrel (before the brake). Surprisingly, I had little loss in velocity and am pushing 180-grain, Barnes Triple Shocks out at 3500 FPS, with few signs of pressure (I thought my chronograph was screwed up).

And to say this rifle is a tack-driver would be a gross understatement. The rifle key-holed two rounds with the third round 1/2-inch off. It is absolutely amazing. I know this all sounds like exaggerated BS, but it is absolutely true. I am the Team Leader for a SWAT Sniper team and none of our rifles can match this hunting rifle.

Thanks so much for shipping this out to Tom. I will certainly be ordering more for other rifles. You have a loyal customer!

Thanks again,

Kevin Johnston

About a month ago I recieved my Remington 700 BDL in 30-06 and had a muzzle brake and pad put on. After getting it back I also dropped in a RifleBasix trigger and went to the range. WOW.....My buddy next to me has a Ruger 77 in 7mm Mag and could not believe how nice my 30-06 shoots now !!!!!!!! He will be sending his rifle soon to get the same work done. JOB WELL DONE...... I HOPE YOU PRINT THIS ON YOUR WEB SITE......MY RIFLE NOW SHOOTS SO NICE THAT IT DOES NOT HURT AT ALL TO SHOOT IT.....THANKS AGAIN,

I had this work done on my wife's 7mm Rem. Mag. for a Canadian moose hunt. She normally shoots a .243 and the 7mm had too much recoil until we had the Answer System installed. she killed a good bull moose and when we returned home for a Georgia White tail hunt, I was surprised when she carried the 7mm Mag. With the Answer System over the .243. I was surprised again when she killed an 8 pint buck opening day. Everything looks great and works great on her rifle.

I
honestly would not have believed it if I had not tried it. I recently had an Answer System muzzle brake installed on my Weatherby fiber mark in .340 Weatherby magnum. Since I have a friend with the same set up, except his was Magna Ported™, I had the perfect comparison test.

Unfortunately, there was no comparison! The Answer System reduced felt recoil to half that of the Magna Ported™ rifle. It was great!

My .340 "shoulder cruncher" now feels more like a .257 Roberts or 7mm Mauser. It is very enjoyable to shoot, and the Trimline installation blends well with the factory barrel and blueing.

Again, congratulations on a product that performs as advertised. I am sure I will be sending you additional business in the future.

I thought you would to like to see the fruits of your labor. I am sure you have heard it before, but I have to tell you again. The work you have done on my rifle is excellent, your muzzle brake is nothing short of fantastic. When recoil is reduced to the point on a 7mm Mag. that you can see the hit on the animal especially in heavy cover, That's Gun Control, need I say more?. By the way, tell Al Talbot his Q.D. mounts the answer to a hunters prayers. I don't carry a rifle anywhere now with a scope attached, his mounts always return the scope to dead zero.

Thanks your boys in the back room, They do fine work.

I have the Answer System on my .338 Win. Mag. Now I enjoy shooting it. Fantastic. Thank you.
